With more than 1,100 dead and a thousand more still missing, typhoon Sendong is now officially the most destructive cyclone to hit the Philippines in 2011. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council predict a death toll that may hit 2,000—aside from the thousands more who are left homeless, displaced and injured. Provisions for food, shelter and clothing are desperately needed and through the Alagang Kapatid Foundation, you can help our fellowmen by contributing any monetary amount to their relief efforts.

These are provided not only for entertainment and positive diversion but also as a medium for kids to express their feelings, with hopes of easing their emotional pain and trauma. Every donation of 150 pesos buys one child a Kiddie Kapatid Kit. The kits will be sourced, packed and distributed by News5 Aksyon Center and Rescue5.
