Every year, Anak TV recognizes TV programs that are considered child-sensitive. This year, TV5 gets credit for its child friendly programs, namely, Batibot, Alagang Kapatid, Pidol’s Wonderland, Special Agent Oso, Chuggington, Handy Manny, Vita Minix, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Being true to their promise of giving quality viewing to Filipinos, TV5 continues to provide programs that enrich and maintain Filipino values and morals.

With children getting easier access to mass media in this modern age, it becomes the responsibility of people in the media to be more sensitive to the message and content they feed to the public. TV programs became avenues not only to entertain but to educate as well.

Anak TV also recognizes TV personalities who embody Filipino values whom children can look up to as role models. Included in the roster of Makabata Stars 2011 are Kapatid stars Ryan Agoncillo and Vic Sotto.
