It goes without saying that David Archuleta’s visit has been very jam-packed. Here’s a look back at all his activities since he landed in Manila:

January 15 (Sunday) – David, together with his leading ladies Jasmine Curtis Smith and Eula Caballero, participated in a whole-day acting workshop conducted by acclaimed actress Ms. Gina Alajar at the Broadway studio.

January 16 (Monday) – First day of “Nandito Ako” shoot at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel. Director Mac Alejendre shares that David is a revelation: “(Si) David Archuleta is a natural actor, ang unang dalawang eksena namin ay mga dramatic na eksena. Tama ang emotional content, tama ang puso, tama ang mukha, tama ang mata, tama ang kilos.”

January 17 (Tuesday) – News5’s MJ Marfori interviews David live in Balitaang Tapat. David teases his fans by singing a few notes of his rendition of the program’s eponymous theme song, “Nandito Ako”.

January 21 (Saturday afternoon) - After a few days of shooting, the activities kept pouring on. David and Jasmine headed to SM Fairview for their first in a series of Nandito Ako mall shows. Not only did David make teenage hearts swoon by showcasing his trademark impeccable vocals, Jasmine also livened up the crowd with her upbeat rendition of “Super Bass”.

January 21 (Saturday evening) - After the mall show, David, Jasmine and Eula went straight to the TV5 office in Novaliches for a brief guest appearance in Wil Time Big Time. In a live brief interview with co-host Mariel Rodriguez, David summarized his Manila experience so far as “great” and “awesome”.
