The month dedicated to fathers is about to close and as TV5's special offering, family and action movies are showing this week on 5MAX Movies, featuring Kevin Costner's For Love of the Game, action comedy movies Naked Gun: From the File of Police Squad! and The Rundown with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and Daddy Warbuck's favorite girl Annie in Annie: A Royal Adventure.

Battlefield Earth, the vintage hard science fiction movie based on L. Ron Hubbard's monumental book is showing on Monday (June 22), starring John Travolta, Barry Pepper and Forest Whitaker. Tuesday (June 23) brings you the sports drama For Love of the Game, based on a novel by Michael Shaara, starring Kevin Costner as star pitcher of the Detroit Tigers.

Featuring a fast-paced slapstick style of comedy is the first in the series of Naked Gun films starring Leslie Nielsen, Priscilla Presley, George Kennedy, and O. J. Simpson in Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! showing on Wednesday (June 24). On Thursday (June 25), the 1996 revamped version of the 1955 French film noir, Diabolique, tells the story of two teachers conspiring to commit murder, starring Sharon Stone.
Critically acclaimed 2003 horror film Darkness Falls unleashes the dark side of its legend on Friday (June 26), about a vengeful spirit taking revenge to a town that lynched her 150 years earlier.

Everyone's favorite plucky orphan is back on Saturday (June 27) in the made-for-TV sequel to the musical hit Annie, in Annie: A Royal Adventure, where Annie and her new family go on an adventure in England. Sunday (June 28) features Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Seann William Scott in the action comedy film The Rundown, about a bounty hunter who must head for the Brazil to retrieve his employer's renegade son.
